CUTTING & STYLING
We hope we accommodate everyone but the best hair experience will always be a cut and blow dry so your hair is finished by your stylist. We have taken the decision to not offer wet cuts as this doesn’t give you the best cut because we can’t finish it. We like to do a lot of cutting and personalising when the hair is dry and styled and can’t do this while wet.
If you opt for a dry cut that’s great but please come in with freshly washed hair that hasn’t been tied up or plaited.
COLOUR
Here at the Colour Lounge we love to do all sorts of colouring. We also have different levels of expertise hence the different price levels.
All colours need a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment and if you haven’t had your hair coloured with us for over 6 months you will need another patch test.
What we recommend is book a free 15 min consultation and we can discuss your requirements and we can do the patch test then and get you booked in with the best stylist for your needs.
PS Due to the law and insurance we can’t colour anyone under 16, so highly recommend you don’t let them colour it themselves as we won’t be able to correct it.
SPECIALIST COLOUR
This is where you need a specialist that can plan your hair journey together.
Scalp bleach needs an expert, you might think this is simple, but it’s not. Balayage really is unique to each person, from brunettes to blondes, from red or copper heads to special colours.
We have tried to give you an accurate price but here you pay for time. We think this is fair so please book your consultation so we can advise how long you might need, both in time and number of appointments. All balayage’s will need Innoluxe to preserve the integrity of the hair while lightening and a toner after the bleaching to get the finished tone.
Colour change and correction can only be priced by time and we need to see you to be able to give you an idea of cost.
